• Stop 1 — Old Town Trolley Welcome Center / St. Augustine History Museum (167 San Marco Ave): Start here for the full narrated loop and your museum entry. The Old Jail and the Oldest Store Museum Experience are within walking distance.
• Stop 4 — City Gates / St. George Street (1 St. George Street): The original colonial fortification gates open onto St. George Street — a pedestrian-only historic mall lined with boutiques, galleries, and colonial-era buildings. The Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse is steps away.
• Stop 5 — Castillo de San Marcos (20 S. Castillo Dr): The 17th-century Spanish stone fort on the waterfront is the most dramatic landmark on the route. Allow at least an hour.

1-day vs 2-day: which to choose

The choice is simple. If you’re spending one day in St. Augustine and want to see as much as possible:

• 1-day ticket: Unlimited rides from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a single calendar day. Ideal if you have a focused itinerary or a half-day to spare.
• 2-day ticket: The same unlimited loop access across two consecutive days. Best if you want to linger at multiple stops, return to a site you rushed through, or explore the neighborhoods more thoroughly without watching the clock.

Practical details

Hours: Trolleys run daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with departures approximately every 15 to 20 minutes. On July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Eve, service closes at 3:00 PM. The trolley does not operate on Christmas Day.

Accessibility: Most regular-sized collapsible strollers can be accommodated — they must stay with your party and cannot be left unattended. Pets, smoking, luggage, and alcohol are not allowed aboard.
